Between Painting and Photographing | ArticlesBase.com

What I am trying to communicate here, of course, is something still dealing with an art of photography. At least, I still use a camera and some other related equipments, like computer. However, I do not do an instant photography. An idea or concept is the primary. Next, I make a visual design from it, before finally I release the shutter. Therefore, people might categorize this as a conceptual photography.

Me, myself? I do not really care about the brand given. What I do know is that I want to extract humanities from the aspects of some stories of life and expose them through special themes, which can be freely interpreted according to the audience’s personal experiences. This is what then becomes the thing that motivates me to make (making pictures instead of just taking pictures) stories through photos. Because of what I intend to do, I think, I would rather call myself a photography artist han a photographer.

Combining This kind of photography is similar to painting. Moreover, perhaps I am combining both. As if doing paintings, all the aspects in mind are sketched on a paper. From the sketches, at least, I can imagine how far they can possibly become the works of photography. I have chosen a theme before, and it is the result of a sense-based brainstorming. Some items are needed supportively, like icons, properties, models and settings.

To find the icons, properties or models, I need to hunt. Usually, it is smoothly undertaken, but sometimes, there are some noteworthy obstacles. Sometimes, it is not easy to find particular icons to represent some characters or emotion that I do not want to expose explicitly; I want it more implicit. In addition, it is getting harder when I want to create characters giving consecutive meanings. Another significant obstacle is if some people consider the icons, properties or expressions that I want to use as taboo.

Prior to the final shot session, I usually make photo dummies according to my sketches. The dummies are then rechecked, whether all properties, poses and displays fit me. If not yet fit, I usually remake the photos until I get the ones that, I think worth seeing. Likely Idealistic To my experience, photography can happen anywhere, both outdoor and indoor. Thus, indoor photography can take place in a studio with the studio lighting, but can also in every place with the available light. Obviously, it depends on the necessity.

If I need portraiture, for example, usually I prefer to use the available light so that I can catch the aura of the photo directly with the circumstances encouraging. The quickest photo execution was the one I did after the idea appeared in mind; no sketch was required. But it rarely happen. Usually, I make photo couple of days after the idea comes and the sketch is made, or even couple of weeks or months after. The idea itself sometimes appears unexpectedly, and if possible, I usually make the sketch in no time.

I even used tissue papers when I did not have papers to make a sketch. For sure, most of those activities are my personal projects. In doing so, they carry their idealism. Sometimes, they become very frustrating since they are too idealistic. In whatsoever, I become very detail, and every little mistake can cause failures. Thus, it needs remake and repair. Through this art of photography, I want to share every emotional experience, and at the same time, expose every detail in a story.

Besides, there is a personal satisfaction in it: it is to express my artistic passion and give out a distinctive point of interest in photography.
About the Author:

Dan has been writing articles for nearly 4 years. Other Medical Equipment Financing Options

The medical field is characterized by rapid advances which demand constant progress in technology. Medical equipment, which has to keep up with these advances, includes operation tables, oxygen tanks, surgery tools, X-Ray machines, ventilators, and much else. Certain kinds of specialized equipment are classified further as other medical equipment. Examples of this kind of equipment include dermatologic laser equipment, optometry equipotent, etc.

Naturally they are highly useful and in demand in the medical field, and their costs are commensurate with their status. Other medical equipment financing is the method of choice for a large number of medical/health-care professionals and institutions to obtain these types of medical equipment. The usual banking solutions that are entirely adequate for the regular functioning of a business are not as effective for long-term acquisitions of medical equipment. Examples follow.

Dermatologic Laser Equipment

As cosmetic surgery of various types is increasingly sought by people and also becoming more and more affordable, this modern equipment answers the need for a specialized technology to correct physical blemishes and problems like wrinkles and unwanted body hair. It is very popular among practising dermatologists.

Medical Scale Equipment

The determination of the height-weight ratio in a patient is a routine element of the standard health checkups. Weighing and measuring instruments have been in use for a long time, of course, but this equipment is designed to measure both variables electronically. It is particularly applicable when the patients are people with physical disabilities and animals. Again, this is extremely expensive equipment and very difficult to avail of without specific financial funding.

Veterinary Equipment

As human society has evolved in its concern toward animals both wild and domesticated, the fields of veterinary medicine and surgery have also evolved highly. Diagnosis and treatment of animals using equipment similar to those used for humans (anesthetic drugs, surgical tools, splints, etc.) is well-established by now. This kind of equipment is even more particular as it needs to take into account the great range of difference in size and shape of different animal species.
Exactly How does Other Medical Equipment Financing Work?

The process entails a number of advantages, such as the allowance of financing through leases and being able to have a loan approved as quickly as within 24 hours of application.

One has to fill out an application form online and deposit it to a company responsible for the financing. It is now possible to get a loan disbursed from home.

Once the loan is granted, payment is to be made through monthly installments. This financing opportunity offers a lot to medical professionals who require the vital equipment but cannot, for whatever reason, afford to purchase them with down-payment.

As interest rates for other medical equipment financing are below standard market rates, this is a feasible option for those who want access to quality technology without having to put down large lump sum payments.

The financing corporations who offer to lease out the equipment under discussion are perfectly dependable; indeed, you may expect their utmost cooperation and continued help in matters legal and financial.

A computer is a lot like a car. Both require periodic routine preventative maintenance. Both need to be well-tuned in order to deliver reliable performance and to prolong their useful lives. Cars undergo tuneups and oil changes. Likewise, computers need to undergo tuneups of their own.

Here are some critical tune up tasks you should perform against your PC on a regular basis:

1. Antivirus scan - Scan your PC for viruses on a regular basis. Even if your antivirus software is set up to detect viruses in real-time, it is still a good idea to schedule it to do a full scan at least once per week.

2. Antispyware scan - Spyware is becoming an increasingly greater menace every day, as it is spread silently through the Internet to unsuspecting users who don't realize that not all clicks are harmless. In a recent survey 80% of the computer users had some form of spyware or adware on their machines. Of these, 90% did not know about the infection and, even worse, didn't even know what spyware was!

For these reasons, spyware has replaced viruses as the number one security threat to PCs.

What is spyware?

Spyware is software installed on your computer without your consent; spyware monitors or controls your computer activity, often capturing and transmitting your personal information without your knowledge. It may be used to send you pop-up ads, redirect your computer to websites, monitor your Internet surfing, or record your keystrokes, which, in turn, could lead to identity theft.

Is it the same as adware?

Adware is legally installed software that tracks your online behavior while you surf the Web. Some adware programs transmit this information to online advertisers, who can then target you with advertising based on your surfing habits.

Adware also includes cookies, which are small programs placed on your computer while you visit shopping sites. Cookies are normally harmless. Without them, e-commerce would be a tiring exercise in filling out forms every time you visited each site. If in doubt, read a site's privacy policy before you enter personally identifiable information at their web site.

What sort of personal information can spyware and adware send to other people?

Adware can send a record of the websites that you have visited. Spyware is different. Some kinds of spyware called keyloggers can record all of your keystrokes and transmit them without your knowledge. This means that all of your passwords and credit card details can be compromised.

What harm can these programs cause?

Apart from the disastrous effects of identity theft, spyware also causes numerous side-effects.

If you've noticed that your PC has become slow and unreliable, has trouble connecting and acts strangely when you're surfing the Internet, then it's likely you've got spyware on your system.

The strange behavior when you're online can include your home page changing and your browser redirecting you to sites that you've never heard of, let alone wanted to visit. Often these are pornography, financial services, or pharmaceutical sites. In other words, the sort of things that spammers try to sell you!

To lower your risk of spyware infections:

• Update your operating system and Web browser software, and set your browser security high enough to detect unauthorized downloads.

• Use anti-virus and anti-spyware software, as well as a firewall, and update them all regularly.

• Download free software only from sites you know and trust. Enticing free software downloads frequently bundle other software, including spyware. Avoid Kazaa, Limewire, Morpheus, and Napster

• Don't click on links inside pop-ups.

• Don't click on links in spam or pop-ups that claim to offer anti-spyware software; you may unintentionally be installing spyware.

All computer users should take preventive steps to avoid spyware, get wise to the signs that it has been installed on their machines, and then take the appropriate steps to delete it.

If you think your computer might have spyware on it, immediately stop shopping, banking, or doing any other online activity that involves user names, passwords, or other sensitive information. Confirm that your security software is active and current and run it to scan your computer for viruses and spyware, deleting anything the program identifies as a problem.
